Our Mother,  Archbishop Margaret E. Benson-Idahosa, declared this month to Focus On Christ For Great Impact in Helping Others.

Today being the last Sunday of this theme, I want us conclude with this topic; LIVING TO AFFECT LIFE.
There is no man on earth who has never been affected by someone.  No one can be a student without a teacher. And there can never be teacher without a student. In one way or the other, we all live for one another. Therefore, we must live to affect life that will result in changes in their lives.

Hearts to Change Lives

God is always looking for people who are willing to serve others.

The little boy who offered his lunch became part of a miracle that fed thousands (John 6:9-13). The Good Samaritan changed the life of a wounded stranger through compassion (Luke 10:33-35).

God can use our time, resources, talents, and compassion to transform lives.

Lesson:

Availability is often more important than ability in God's kingdom.

Benefits of Helping Others

1. It Glorifies God

Matthew 5:16 "Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven."

2. It Attracts God's Favor

Proverbs 11:25 "The liberal soul shall be made fat: and he that watereth shall be watered also himself."

3. It Brings Joy and Fulfillment

Acts 20:35 "It is more blessed to give than to receive."

4. It Advances God's Kingdom

Good works open hearts to receive the Gospel and experience God's love.

Hebrews 13:16 "But to do good and to communicate forget not: for with such sacrifices God is well pleased."

Thanks for reading and God bless you.
